In May 2014, STV announced it would be relaunching its television and online services, ahead of the launch of new city TV channel, STV Glasgow. The updated branding was created in partnership with DixonBaxi, which retained the current blue and white logo, with the blue being tweaked slightly to a new shade, while the the logo is now ‘dimensionalised’.
The new look appeared on-screen from 2 June 2014, providing a refresh which will cover all of STV’s core operations under one brand, including television channels, news, sport, weather, online content and moblie apps.

“We started this process last summer and approached a branding refresh with the aim of turning up the personality of STV and creating a more recognisable brand family across the business. The evolution of the STV brand that will launch on 2nd June creates a unified look that ensures STV is fit for purpose across our range of platforms and devices.”
